With offices since 1991, we have provided full marketing & sales, design and service for microwave networks in PDH and SDH. Since 1994, ANTEL Kft has planned & installed in co-operation with Hungarian partners (like TKI) two backbone SDH 6 GHz microwave SIEMENS rings for a GSM operator. ANTEL has also installed Ethernet & 1E1 Laser systems, and has Type Approved scores of microwave equipment systems (MNI), the first GSM repeater (Allen Telecom) as well as intelligent cross-connect equipment (Tellabs-Martis). Over 50 installation personnel are available including antenna experts, through-out the region. Our technical offices since July 1999, in the former Budapest FMV industrial park, have access to top technical and manufacturing support.

In co-operation with TKI Budapest, ATI has put in operation over 500 microwave links in a GSM operator’s network in a record time. We can provide frequency planning, site surveys, Company has acess to offices, lab & service area, CAD-CAD planning department for site design, survey and installation planning.

We also installed a 140 Km SDH STM-1, 6GHz NERA microwave system from Hungary to Bosnia for MATAV, completing the first Sarajevo-Budapest direct digital connection, first of it’s kind.
